Kids Jiu-Jitsu is a development program for kids aged 5 to 8 years old. Students in Jiu-Jitsu will have fun while developing important life skills including motor skills, coordination, balance, posture, basic self-defence principles and general strength development using bodyweight exercises.
Kids learn confidence by mastering basic Jiu-Jitsu movements and playing games that develop skills
Classes are run in a structured environment, where participation and effort is encouraged and rewarded
Students learn the skills they need for basic self-defence, including anti-bullying strategies and de-escalation techniques
Students learn coordination, balance and body movement, as well as proper grip control and positional awareness in grappling techniques
Kids earn belts and stripes that demonstrate skills they have learned as part of the program
Students will build character and develop a sense of sportsmanship and fair play
